Our enthusiasm flows towards the heritage of the phenomenal Cremonese violins of Antonio Stradivari and Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesù. In three recordings, we display an early violin of Antonio Stradivari of 1694, the ‘Irish, Burgundy’, and his golden period violin of 1718, the ‘Deszö Szigeti / Benno Walter’ as well as the early violin by Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesù of 1724, the powerful ‘Caspar Hauser’. They are played by the gifted violinist Oleg Kaskiv, professor at the International Menuhin Music Academy. Combined with a dedicated and expert mastery of recording, these three CDs represent an excellent mix for any audiophile who is interested in the beauty of the great Cremonese violins.
